  • Finally the three words we have been waiting to hear Brian say, have finally come out.

First off, let me start out by saying that this goes down as my favorite episode of the entire five seasons; Most likely because I have waited 80 episodes to hear Brian utter the words: I love you, to Justin. Back to the beginning. The Stop Prop 14 event was taking off as quickly as it was pulled out from underneath them. The venue recinded their offer to hold it there, not wanting to stir up problems with any straight clients. Michael and Ben then turn to Brian, asking if they could hold the event at Babylon. With Brian's approval, it is starting to look as if everything's about to turn around. During Cyndi Lauper's performance, chaos errupts as an explosion goes off behind the bar at Babylon. Hearing the news on his way to the airport, Brian turns around to check on his friends. Michael, unfortunately, is not so lucky and is rushed to the hospital. Brian finally makes his way to Justin, embracing him despite their breakup. The words were subtle and softly spoken. "I love you." Justin was undoubtedly taken aback by it, but obviously pleasantly surprised. Justin had done it: made the wall Brian Kinney had built up around him his entire life, come crumbling down. Throughout the seasons, he made him more vulnerable, susceptible to love; Something that was never thought to be possible of Brian's character, until Justin manuevered his way into Brian's life. This was undoubtedly the most epic moment of the entire series, and brings me to tears every time I watch it.moreless
  • The single best episode of the series...

This episode will go down in history as my favorite episode of the series. It's not my favorite due to a happy nature, on the contrary, it is perhaps one of the darkest episodes of the series.

After watching it tonight, it literally gave me chills. One event has caused such a domino effect on every character of the show, that you can't help but wonder how everything will end. The moral of this episode, especially for Brian, is that you can never take anything for granted, and that you must live life as if it were your last day on earth.

The episode also featured Cyndi Lauper, who looks great 22 years after her debut.moreless

    Where to begin...

Let's start light. With Ted and his quest for a husband. I loved that Brian helped him look, albeit in his own way, but still, it was just another example of their budding friendship. But Ted should have known that the guy that he chose was not going to work out from his sad little tale of fear. I mean, Ted helps manage a club for pete's sake. And Ted likes to go out on occasion. It would have never worked.

Then there is Lindsey and Melanie, there is not much to say on those two, except I hope this accident helps them to get past their differences and get back together.

Emmet and Boyd are pretty small too. I understood why he was upset, I just didn't like that he was mean to my Emmet. But he made up for it when he went to see Emmet at Babylon after the bombing.

Michael was still a pain in the butt about the whole Brian situation, but they are making some good first steps toward friendship. I'm glad Brian didn't make Michael grovel too much but Michael was still a major a--hole about the whole thing. You would think they hadn't been friends since they were 14.

Now we get to my favorite part, the part I will probably rewatch all week long until next Sunday... Brian and Justin! How great was this episode for them. For me! I have waited almost as long as Justin to hear Brian say he loved him and there we were and he said it twice. YEAH!!!!!!!!!! I loved the little noise Justin made when Brian said it. And that Brian confessed how terrified he was when he heard the news. I just loved the entire last 3 minutes of this episode. I can not wait until next week! I'm upset that the end is so near, but I guess I have to get used to the fact that one of my favorite shows is going off the air. It is going out with a bang, I have to say!moreless

This episode was yet the best to come out of this show. Waiting for Brian to say it...it was like waiting to see who's the daddy of a baby on a soap opera. I waited so long for him to say it yet...it just wasnt Brian Kinney to say it. And as for the bomb...oh boy did I cry. Such a sad episode.

    • Debbie: As you know, I've always been a good catholic girl. Even though when it comes to gays and abortion, I think they're full of shit. But, still, I always believed that god knew best, and there was always a reason for what he does. But, this time I'm not so sure why he let this happen to Michael and the others. So, this time, I'm not asking him, I'm telling him, to see that Michael gets through this. You notice, I didn't say "My Son Michael". Because it's not for me. It's for him.

    • Doctor: He's AB negative. We're low on his type. Brian: I'm O negative. Well that's the universal doner right? Doctor: Are you gay? Brian: What's that got to do with anything? Ben: You know we can't give blood because of HIV. Brian: I don't have HIV. Doctor: Doesn't matter. It's an FDA regulation. Gays are considered to be too high of a risk. Brian: And what about all those straight studs and bitches who fuck around and don't use protection. I mean you take their blood, right? Ben: Brian, Brian! Brian: I don't give a shit! Take my blood motherfucker!

    • Customer: Hey Deb, where's my chicken fricassee? Debbie: It's still fricin'.

    • Ted: I'm on a quest to find a husband. Brian: The latest homo to join the ranks of the defectors. So, who's the stiff? And I don't mean that in the best sense of the word.

    • Brian: They say Mardi Gras in Sydney's the gayest place on earth. Except, of course, for Disneyland.

    • Brian: When I heard what happened I tried to call you on your cell but, you didn't answer. I was... so fuckin' scared. All I could think was, "Please don't let anything happen to him." (Brian pulls Justin closer to him and Brian whispers into Justin's ear) Brian: I love you... I love you.
