While the gang becomes continually frustrated with Stockwell's enforcements of anti-drug and public sex laws on Liberty Avenue, Ben and Michael are becoming more concerned than ever with the behavior of Hunter, the teenage hustler who Ben learns is HIV positive, which gives Ben a greater sense of responsibility for Hunter. Meanwhile, Emmett's attempts to cheer Ted up have been failing rather miserably... especially one night when Ted doesn't come home.

Brian helps Justin in his rebellion. He gets Stockewell to show up at the gay and lesbian center, and while there Debbie, Jenn, Justin, Mel and Linze hold up posters of murdered gays and lesbians, and Justin's picture of cases that were never solved or barely had action taken against them. Debbie holds up a poster of the dumpster boy she found, named Jason. They bombarded Jim and made him look like a fool. Jim recognized Justin and figures out that Brian is working against him, and goes to Brian's partner. When Brian's partner says it doesn't make sense why Brian would do that, Jim says it's because he's gay in a not so nice term. They show up at Brian's place while he and Justin are being intimate and he not only finds Justin there naked with Brian, but also sees the posters, including Justin's newest one with a picture of Jason "dumpster boy" that says "Dump Stockwell". Brian's partner was there as well and Jim was furious. Brian's partner fires him. Deb later tries to make him feel better. He offers her a joint and she says no at first, but then takes it and tells him if he tells anyone he's a dead man. That was a funny scene. Also, having enough of being shut out of everywhere that homosexuals were formally able to go to do whatever they wanted, Brian and Justin show up at Babylon with a sledgehammer and open the back door for business once again. Awesome boys. In the meantime Mel and Linze try to help out a depressed Ted by telling him they want to open an account for Gus and want Ted to manage it. They started with five thousand dollars. Ted runs into Mark on the street and later attends another one of his drug filled orgy fests, where Mark then invites him to go to Palm Springs to a white party for a few thousand dollars. I didn't think Ted would stoop so low to not only lie to Emmet, rip off Mel and Linze, but steal Gus's money. Wait till Brian finds out. Emmett finds out where Ted went after looking for him with Mike, when he runs into one of Mark's friends at Babylon, who informs him that Ted went to Palm Springs. WTF Ted. Also, Ben continues to try to help Hunter. He tells him Hunter is positive and Hunter tries to get him to leave him alone. Ben gives him a coat, tissue and condoms. Later he takes him in and when Hunter asks why Ben cares so much, he says because he's positive too. Ben talks to him about it a bit and offers to let him stay there for no set time limit, but he has to be in by midnight. Mike takes him aside and wants to know if Hunter is coming back because Mike figures he's not. That's what it looked like too. Ben had even set a place for Hunter at the table. However, Hunter later shows up a minute before curfew. Another amazing episode that leaves you wondering and not wanting to wait to see what is going to happen next!moreless
  • One of my favorites.

Brian doubles up with both Stockwell and Justin, so sooner or later he was bound to get caught. And he did. And in true Kinney style, what better way to have him get caught than with his pants down. Gardner and Stockwell show up at Brian's loft to find Brian and Justin in an awkward position, not to mention the posters scattered across the floor. Needless to say, Brian gets fired and Justin risks getting expelled from Pittsburg Art Institute. The episode is cleverly plotted and is very funny. It has to be one of my favorites from season 3.moreless
  • Caught with your pants down

Now, I had a feeling that once Brian started to get really involved in Justin's campaign to take down Stockwell trouble couldn't be far behind. I mean you can't be kind of a double agent without getting caught with your pants down at some point. Seemed only natural that it would happen sooner of later. Serves Brian right that he would side with someone like Stockwell to begin with. We've seen him work with others who aren't in favor of his life style, of that of his community (though he wouldn't ever admitt it was his community), but usually it seemed to serve a greater purpose. Education, irony, forcing someone to deal with his world wether they liked it or not. But this time, sold his soul and now his job is gone to boot. Karma.moreless
