Michael is in the comic book shop, reading the newest Captain Astro, which ends with Captain Astro's death. Michael is devastated. At the diner, the guys try to cheer up Michael who believes that they killed him because he was gay.


Lindsay and Mel are checking out some food for their wedding. Later, at the bar they discuss the food with Leda. Lindsay gets angry with Mel because she thinks Mel is too busy being cheap. Mel accuses Lindsay of being a spoiled rich girl. The fight escalates and they storm out with Mel chasing Lindsay.


George gives Emmett oral sex and Emmett is extremely impressed. Emmett gets ready to head out to Babylon, when he finds out George has only been to a gay bar once. He insists George go with him to Babylon. Brian, Justin, Ted, and Michael are already there, still discussing Captain Astro. Emmett brings George over to introduce him to the guys. George guesses who each one is and then goes off to dance with Emmett. Justin and Brian finally agree on a guy to take home…and they do.


Ben and Michael are lying on the bed talking about Captain Astro. Michael tries to explain about his hero. Ben is impressed with how good Michael is.


Lindsay and Mel are still arguing with one another and being petty. Lindsay's mom calls and tells her that she cannot have the wedding dress that her Granny Faye left to her. Lindsay is heartbroken so Mel comforts her.


Debbie takes out the trash and finds a body in the dumpster. The police come and take the strangled victim. One officer questions Debbie about the guy they found. It seems as though Debbie recognized the guy. The cop makes a gay joke and Debbie lays into the investigator for being homophobic. Justin also danced with the guy at Babylon. Inside the diner, the guys discuss the murder, each with their own theory on how it happened. Michael is passing out a petition to get the publishers to bring back Captain Astro. Debbie yells at everyone for not taking the murder seriously.


Mel and Lindsay break into the Peterson's house to get her Granny Faye's wedding dress. The dress is gone but they find a bunch of old letters that belonged to her. While reading these romantic letters addressed to Faye. They are from a woman named Vera; each letter gets more and more romantic. Mel and Lindsay realize that Granny Faye was having an affair with Vera.


George and Emmett try to make plans for the night. Emmett suggests a few things but George is not interested. Emmett finds George's opera tickets and he offers them to Emmett. Emmett wants him and George to go together but George is uncomfortable with the idea of going somewhere he has not been since he came out.


Brian is at the comic book store to see Michael. He tries to comfort Michael who is still reeling from the death of Captain Astro as well as the things his mother said about the murder. Brian tells Michael it is okay to mourn all he wants.


Lindsay and Mel continue to read the letters that detail Faye and Vera's affair. They learn how it ended tragically, with Vera unable to come out in order to be with Faye. Mel says that it had to be that way back then, they had no choice.


Emmett and George end up going to the opera together where they run into Ted. Unfortunately, they also run into Virginia-George's ex-wife. Emmett lets her know exactly how thrilled he is to be with George, leaving Virginia shocked.


Justin keeps talking to Brian about the murdered man. Of course, the conversation leads to sex.


Emmett and George leave the opera and Emmett apologizes for the way he acted to Virginia. Come to find out, George is thrilled with how everything turned out. George tells Emmett he has had more fun in the last few days than he ever had.


Lindsay and Mel are home now. Lindsay tells Mel there is one more letter and it has never been opened. The letter reveals how Vera stayed in love with Faye for all them years and how much regret Vera felt. Granny Faye died before she ever found out that Vera loved her. Lindsay and Mel kiss and decide to have the most expensive dinner plate for their wedding…in honor of Granny Faye and Vera.


Michael is upset that everyone is going on as if they gay guy was never murdered. Ben comforts him.


Brian leaves Babylon with a guy that he doesn't know. It upsets Justin because he is afraid of what might happen to Brian. The stranger and Brian walk off together and Justin watches them go.
