Right after Emmett leaves the apartment and Brian arrives, we hear Michael and Ben talking whether Emmett could have forgotten his keys. Michael announces that Emmett never forgets his key.
However, in a previous episode in season one, when Brian in knocking on the door in the middle of the night, we hear he exclaim "Emmett, you can't keep forgetting your keys", which implies, that he does this on a regular basis.
This is the only season premiere of the series where Todd doesn't make an appearance in the backroom of Babylon.
