The duck is gay...that is the joke people...

Now don't get me wrong, I love flash cartoons when done right. Stuff like Homestar Runner are absolute classics (in Internet years). Queer Duck came out around the excact same time with a big name writer Mike Reiss (The simpsons and the critic). So with that big name the animation must be great right?...It looks abysmal, it came out around the same time as homestar yet looks WORSE than an independent cartoon done by two no name writers, actors and animators. How about the voice acting?...No complaint actually as the acting is decent and I think they were trying their best. As I said in the Three Friends and JErry review, I can get past bad animation so long as the writing is good. Sadly like the title said the shwo is CONSTANT GAY JOKES!!!!! There is a limit to gay jokes being funny, and sometime they came off as less funny and more homphobic if anything. It does not even make sense on a plot level in some cases like Queer's perfectly normal mother comitting suicide and what was his reaction? "GAY PRIDE!!!" and does a happy dance!...Now unlike Three friend's and Jerry there is decent pacing and I can tell where the jokes are so I am going to give this a higher rating... but still you should skip this. Go watch other flash cartoons like Homestar Runner, Happy Tree Friends, Melancholy of Haruhi Chan OR EVEN THE SLIM SHADY SHOW IF YOU'RE ARE DESPERATE!!!! Just not one joke shows like this.moreless

This is a classic show which made 20 great Macromedia-Flash animated shorts/episodes and one feature-length movie. I watched the very first episode, loved it and have seen the other nineteen like twenty times each. This show was created by Mike Reiss best know for executively producing The Simpsons Seasons 3-4 and creating my favourite show The Critic both with Al Jean. This was something he did solo, and it turned out great, however Reiss has said he would be too exhusted doing a full half hour show again, but it sure would be great, I love this show, and I urge you to buy the movie, a great series!moreless
