After pouring through thousands of audition tapes, T-Boz & Chilli of TLC visit New York, where they surprise semi-finalists by showing up at their homes, workplaces or wherever they may be, and invite them to a special audition. Later, these semi-finalists each perform a pop song before T-Boz & Chilli and the two pop superstars then decide which of the girls will be given a ticket to Atlanta for the next round of the competition.moreless
