  • This is such a sad episode.

    9.0
I think the shows that make you feel are the best, whether you feel excited, sad, or amused. In this case, it's sad. What happens is so tragic. Asahina loved Ayato, and he accidentally killed her. She didn't blame him or try to stop him, she just said good-bye. She wished she could spend more time with him. I cried.
  • The best episode in all of Rahxephon.

    9.9
While this episode serves more like a subplot between Asahina and Ayato, what happens throughout is just so gorgeous. After Ayato rescues Asahina and escapes from Tokyo Jupiter, Ayato explains to her of everything, about the world they lived in, etc. He decided not to go back directly to TERRA so he can think things over more. In the mean time, Ayato and Asahina's relationship started to get much deeper and stronger. Ayato got a part time job to support the two, and they both temporarily lived in a hotel room.

Without spoiling the best part, I'll leave it at that. It's such a strong episode, and what happens near the end will kind of will remind you of a William Shakespeare story. Though that's not the only part that made me love this episode so much. Ayato has been an outcast his entire time with TERRA, but now his will to save people jumped dramatically. However, it's that same will that produced very heartbreaking results.moreless
