Last night, I tried to watch the pilot--but it was so boring that I fell asleep after the first 10 minutes.

I just got done watching the pilot, and I rather enjoyed it. The twist at the end was interesting, his friend and former partner was dead. The murders kept me until the end; I didn't find it boring at all. I just might actually watch this show.

This reminds me of that one movie that Jeff Goldblum and Cindy Lauper were both in. They played Psychics anyone else remember? More importantly does anyone know the name of that movie?

I thought the Pilot was very strong. Jeff Goldblum has always been a fantastic actor (and my favorite for over a decade now), and he really drove this show home. All of the characters (even the regular ol' crime suspects) were compelling and interesting, and his conversations with Sandy were very well done. It's a very unique twist how he uses his own subconcious to solve the murders (and how the victim evolved over the course of the show as he learned more about her was great), and the twist at the end was great too. I really hope this show gets viewers because I am hooked.

Pretty funny with so many people assuming it was a ghost show rip off when it's closer to Monk with the detective with a mental illness angle.  Not bad don't think it'll last long but most of watching tv is enjoying a show for the time they give us.  Not many of them last past a season and become a hit other than the gimmick it was a pretty solid cop show kept me guessing till the end.

I didn't expect to like this show but I do like it.  The surprise at the end really got me.  At first I did think it was a little strange that he kept running to his ex-partner.  It does seem a little strange that he'd be complaining to a hallucination that he's seeing another hallucination.

One little complaint, although it's not a big deal, is when he ordered that guy out of the washroom just so he could talk to the hallucination seemed a little heavy-handed.

I liked it. I didn't know whether the gimmick would work as a quirk or become too much the focus. But there was a solid mystery to solve and that portion was well done and the "ghosts" are basically parts of his subconscious manifesting themselves as visual hallucinations. I liked that he was aware he was hallucinating and this was an interesting way to present how he was proceeding in the case as well as his thought processes without flashback or such as seen in other procedural shows. I'll watch the rest of the season. I figured out pretty early on that the ex-partner was another hallucination as there are clues given out by how people in the background are reacting whenever you see him talking to his ex-partner. They just made it obvious at the end with the gardner. You could say the ex-partner is the manifestation of one part of his psyche different from the part manifesting the victim, which makes me wonder if he will hallucinate anybody else besides the victims in his cases...

I really enjoyed the pilot. It was quirky, funny, and full of twists. I loved how his hallucinations changed as we learned more about Sandy. It's great seeing Nicole Sullivan. I loved her in MadTV and she's really great in this. All the actors are very good. This could be my favorite show of the 2007-2008 season. I hope it did well last night. I hate when they cancel shows before they have a chance...
