Maw Maw: (in case of her death) Don't forget to wrap my head in tinfoil so the worms don't get me.
Virginia: Burt, go get the champagne I was saving for when Oprah comes crawling back to network TV.
Virginia: You really want her going to the same schools Jimmy went to?
Jimmy: Mom, my schools were not that bad.
Virginia: Name four consonants.
Jimmy: America, Europe, Mexico, and the North Pole.
Virginia: Is that right? I don't know. I went to the same schools.
Maw Maw: (to Sabrina) Hurry up and ask that long-haired pretty boy to marry you before the Republicans get back in office and make it a sin.
Nana: In case you're shedding any tears for me, please don't. By the time you see this, I'm going to be in Heaven getting plowed by my dead husband.
Barney: Right before I die, I want to be frozen so they can bring me back after they discover the cure for whatever disease I had. And, of course, the cure for being frozen to death.
Virginia: Frozen, huh? What do they call that?
Frank: Cryogenics.
Shelley: I thought cryogenics was a religion.
Virginia: No, no, no, you're thinking of Science-ology. It's that religion that writer started. L... More Leonard.
Guest stars Melanie Griffin (playing Sabrina's mother) and Tippi Hedren (playing Sabrina's grandmother) are also real-life mother and daughter.
Original International Air Dates:
Canada: October 2, 2012 on Citytv
Czech Republic: February 5, 2013 on HBO
The episode title is an allusion to the 1993 film Indecent Proposal, based on the Jack Engelhard novel, starring Robert Redford, Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson, about a young couple being offered a large financial reward in exchange for compromising their wedding vows. In this episode the incentive requires only a marriage on Sabrina's part and she in turn expects Jimmy to make a decent effort to impress her with his proposal.
Virginia: I love Mike & Molly.
Virginia (and later Burt) reference the sitcom airing Monday nights on CBS, which premiered during the same fall season as Raising Hope.
