Jimmy: And he's the one who's rich because his parents gave him confidence, education and self-esteem!
Burt: Well, we don't have any of those things, Jimmy, so how are we supposed to give them to you?

Virginia: (to Jimmy) It was a nightmare. You were a nightmare child. You know that movie The Exorcist? You cried the whole way through it.

Virginia: (to Jimmy) You're not that kind of adopted. We are your biodegradable parents.

Virginia: When you were little, I took you to a baby modeling tryout and you got the job to be in that picture. But then I saw a special on TV about Danny Bonaduce, and it scared me, so I never took you back.
Jimmy: But you love Danny Bonaduce.
Virginia: The actor, not the person.
