      • Mr. Hansen: Yeah, man. But you know, the jury, they're gonna want to believe that I did it as soon as they sit down, man. Look at me. Jerry: I see a guy who is home with his wife and kids.

      • Marcus: (to Jerry) Ah, the Kellerman magic! I almost thought I was in trouble until you decided to piss on the judge. You just can't help yourself. But one man's curse is another man's blessing.

      • Kameela Hansen: I think people listen to their own self-interest, Jerry. Even good people. Jerry: Okay. My self-interest needs me to win. And it's not a win if an innocent man gets convicted.

      • Roz: Do you really want it in your record that you hammered a legless war hero in a flimsy charge without any supporting evidence? Nick: Uh no, don't exaggerate. He still has one good leg.

      • Jerry: I don't want to beg for mercy for a man who deserves freedom. I don't wanna have to ask you to give him the 10-year minimum for something he didn't even do. What I want is to work in a system that cares more about people than politics. That's represented by men and women who sometimes actually listen to the truth. I want to stand in front of judges I respect. Who would never sacrifice their integrity for advancements. Who would never be corrupted by outside influences. Who'd give up the bench before they compromise their ideals. Fair, independent judges who I guess truly deserve to be called 'Your Honor', your Honor.

      • Marcus: A judge reversing himself is like the sun rising in the west. Jerry: God saw the light, brother. Marcus: Yeah, the white light as his career passed over to the other side.

      • Judge Kessler: The problem with secrets is that once you share them, they are no longer secrets.

      • Jerry: If being certain and being right had anything to do with each other, we'd have found WMDs in Iraq.
