Charlie came out to Kessler which she did not take very well, but the gang later toasts to his out of closet exposure. Kellerman punched a DA in a bar protecting Roberta, sort of, and later has dinner with Roberta where there are some sparks flying, and then later Kellerman beats this DA once again, but this time in court. Marcus eases up on a young offender after a talk with Michelle.
This show has great timing and progresses well and it's what I've been asking for, for years now, less episodes per season and more compelling writing. I always lump law shows into this infinite lump of derivation, that lacks connection to its audience, but not "Raising The Bar" and not this episode. I prefer episodes that bring the story forward and set the audience up for the wonder of what will happen next. A rare thing that happens the next day after watching is that I contemplate what happened, and it sticks with me. Well Done!
