Big game hunter, Jack Warden, is searching for two tigers that escaped while being transported to India, and are killing natives. The natives believe Ramar is controlling them, through black magic, and use a voodoo doll to poison Ogden.
Reynolds and Ogden set out to find a "forbidden village" and encounter an American photographer who was run out of the village they are seeking. The villagers believe that the photographer's being there caused an epidemic. Reynolds tries to get in the village to treat them, and risks being put to death.moreless

While excavating the tomb of Akara, an American archaeologist removes the Urn Of Destiny and takes it with him. He is soon seized with a murderous rage, but can't remember what he has done. Ramar takes him to a local doctor, who tells him the urn is cursed with a black magic spell.moreless
Reynolds and Ogden are visiting a village, when at a local funeral, the supposedly dead man gets up and walks off the pyre they have built under him. The natives believe he his risen from the dead but Reynolds believes something else is at work.
An American explorer steals sacred statues from the Nagoma village, which the villagers believed protected them from evil spirits and sickness. When the villagers start getting sick, the chief decides to execute one white person for every villager that dies. Ramar goes after the thief, to get the statues back before anyone else dies.moreless
