As a person who read about Ramona as a kid, I was really excited to see this series. The girl chosen for the role of Ramona suited the role to a t.

The inteaction of the children is very realistic. Also, unlike most adaptations for TV, the episodes stayed very close to the actual books. Stories were taken from different books, but they blended well.

All the fun and challege of childhood and growing up was encompassed in the stories.

The girl playing Beezus was also well suited to the role. She did an excellent job portraying the big sister. I would have loved to have seen more of the chapters of the books adapted.moreless

They did a wonderful job adapting Beverly Cleary's stories to TV. I have always loved the Ramona books.
