ok, i used to watch the show when i first downloaded it about 5 years ago, and i started watching again out of boredom about a month ago, and does anyone agree that the anime has one of the worst endings in anime history?

Also, I think Inu Yasha did as well, maybe Rumiko just sucks at finishing stories

If you're talking about the endings for the anime for those series, yes they were both horrible. But, that was mainly because they were incomplete. Basically meaning that there could have been a lot more episodes; the producers just decided not to animate the rest of the manga. Also, the anime endings are not influenced by Rumiko Takahashi, she only makes the manga, not the anime. Blame the producers if you have to, but they might have a good reason for not making more episodes that they're hiding from us...

no ill stick with blaming rumiko, because the manga ending for ranma was just as lame as the animes

I didn't read the mangas for Ranma 1/2 or InuYasha, so I don't know how those ended. I agree that these were two of the worst endings I have ever seen though. The last episode of InuYasha was a really cool episode, but as an ending it was the worst piece of... man, it pissed me off. Three major things they need for an anime series; a beginning, some middle, and an end. They got the beginning part well, they stretched out the middle way too long, and then they cut us short of a REAL ending (this goes for both InuYasha and Ranma 1/2).

Was the whole point of Ranma 1/2 not based around how Ranma is cursed and wants to be cured, and how he has to deal with several fiances at the same time? Then they end it by having his mom visit and he didn't even end up letting her know who he is?! What was that garbage ending?! It was a good episode, but it was crying out for him to come clean, and even then that's no way to end the series. He didn't find a cure, he didn't choose a fiance, viewers such as myself are angry and disappointed.

And with InuYasha, they finally find a way to beat that god damn Naraku. InuYasha has a new technique and everything for the occasion! Final battle... result: inconclusive?! What the hell! Shouldn't it just take them a few more episodes to find Naraku's heart and destroy it, then destroy him? God... terrible ending...

the ting that made me mad about ranma was that though it was inferred ranma and akane never said they love eachother or have a real kiss or marriage or anything

same with inu yasha, kikyo is still around, so what does that mean for inu yasha and kagome? im hoping naruto doesn't follow the path of animes anti-climactic endings, though i will say, i loved the end of fullmetal alchemist (the movie ending) though im pissed because their friends, including winry will never see them again

anime characters never really get the girl

well, i totally agree with you guys on the anime, the endings totally sucked. but with the manga, ranma ended ok in my opinion, but the akane ranma relationship never really resolved. in inuyasha manga though, inuyasha and kagome are gradually starting to show their feelings for each other so i'm hoping rumiko ends it well!

if you think those enmdings are bad you should see the zatch bell anime ending lol... its not even an ending they just stopped making episodes in the middle of teh series teh only way to see what follows is by reading the manga.

yea but zatch bell wasn't a good show anyway, its just a reincarnation of yugioh, pokemon, digimon, monster rancher, and all the other "mythical creatures battle in some sort of organized fight with special conditions" type of shows

I don't know about the manga but the anime ending felt unconcluded.I didn't like how Ranma left his issues wuth his mom and Akane and the other suitors completely unresolved.Does the manga answer these questions:

1.Is ranma rid of the curse?

    2.Does he confess to Akane?

3.Does Ranma's mom find out his secret?

    1. No

    2. Sort of, but not literally, it's inferred

    3. No

As far as I know they haven't ended yet. Haven't read the comics in years, how do the manga's end anyway?  I doubt I'll ever finish them.

Nevermind, just read the last book of Ranma (on computer) and I thought the ending sucked (mostly because of my attachment to Ryoga).  I guess it was cool that Ranma and Akane finally tied the knot, but I felt like something to end the confrontations should've happened.  Mostly I think Ryoga should've died, at least end his character with some dignity, like maybe have given his life to save Akane, and she could've found out he was P-Chan.

Mostly I didn't like it because it wasn't an ending, it's like it could've gone on the same way, but the only difference was that Ranma and Akane were married.  No one ever made peace with the fact that the two were wedded, except for Mousse and Shampoo (kinda).

I do not know about InuYasha, but Ranma manga ending was really tragic. I think it is less tragic in Anime ending.

Why? You sort of understand that they cannot go like this any longer. If you think about it Ranma's life really sucks. He does not get well with any of his fiances (I mean having normal and productive relationship) and he is stuck between being a girl and a boy. How more tragic can you get in a manga which suppose to be funny? I think Anime ending far less tragic, it gives him some sort of hope for a normal life. In Manga failed wedding must be a fanal stroke for Alkane if there was any hope for relationship it was gone. So, it is trully sad. The only hope for the future must be a dramatic change in their relationship.

so in the manga there married maybe in the future the will make the final episodes for the anime.

i thought it was about time they got married hell even say they loved one and other.

i'm glad it was not ryogha i really hate that guy using his curse just to sleep with here.

i dont like akane in the anime it's clears she loves ranma but still act jealous and just to get to him go out with a date with that guy t hat has no direction.

i really dont like her in the anime i then had rather see ranma marry all the other girls but her or maybe the can make the same ending

like in tenchi muyo gpx that guy married all the girls hahaha.
