  • Ranma has a weakness! Ranma is DEATHLY afraid of cats, which began eating him alive when he was little. Kuno gets wind of this fear, and Sasuke prepares "Cat Hell" for Ranma. Ranma becomes a cat to deal with his acute fear, causing trouble unknowingly.moreless

*SPOILERS ABOUND* Well, the above summary is so brief it's bad, but oh well. I absolutely love this episode!! Ranma was just a biiiit too strong, we needed something to hold over him, so an acute fear of cats is perfect! Plus it allows us a glimpse into Ranma's private emotions, which are clear anyway, but now they're untainted by his stupid pride and concienceness. Akane's so sweet, but I am in love with Ranma in Catfist, running after fish and meowing, then scratching up a tree. Kuno, as usual, sucks, and unfortunately causes Ranma further headaches later with his fear of cats for something he has no memory whatsoever of -- after all, he was a cat when he kissed Akane and slept in her lap!moreless

    • Soun Tendo: Days of Long Ago; Fallen leaves tell many tales.. Of sad memories

Some watchers might have missed this unless they saw the Japanese version, and even then if they didn't know what a haiku is. 'Haiku is the most important cultural form of traditional Japanese poetry. ..a 17-syllable verse form in a 575 format. Meaning the first line is five syllables, 2nd is 7, and the last is 5 again. Its fun to play around with and simple enough to sound it out, though offers a challenge to make it better. Who said this and if this was a popular haiku or not, is unknown to me but I liked it so.. *hits submit* hopefully you learned more.
