The consistentcy of the last episode makes its way to episode 20. Sieghart finally finds the person he has been looking for for so long; only to kill her, which he had failed to do last time. Though instead of killing her instantly, he decided to tell Elie her past. Sieghart reveals to her that he's the protector of time, killing those who try to mendle with it. His most dangerous enemy yet is Etherion, which only Resha was able to wield. After her death, experiments were done to allow control over Ehterion, and Elie was a test subject for it. On that day a year ago, he destroyed the lab. Elie was the only survivor from the destruction, but he quickly changed that. After realizing that he wasn't successful, he spent a year hunting her down.

Sieghart revealed one last piece of information; Resha created Rave using Etherion, and that if such a source can create a great power like Rave, it must be destroyed! Elie was tormented using several shocks from thunder, but it failed. Sieghart then decided to slowly kill her off using poison. Elie, who had enough of pain, demanded her death. Yeah that's right, Elie wanted to die! But it would be pretty understandable in her situation, since she was suffering so much, and she must have considered the fact she's a threat to humanity. This is by far the best episode yet, and it's not only because Elie was suffering. The story has just gotten much more interesting, pulling it away from other generic animes to give it a reasonable standout.moreless

Apparently guided by distortions in time, Elemental Master Seig Hart finds Elie crying down by the railroad tracks. He takes her aside and explains a few things, like that her tattoo doesn't say her name "ELIE" but is the number of experimental subject "3173" and she has been reading it upside down all this time.(just incase people haven't been getting the hints from the two previous episodes.)
About one year ago, while doing his job as a Time Guard, Seig Hart came to destroy a secret laboratory. The lab was experimenting with the power of Etherion, also called the power of creation, capable of creating something out of nothingness or cause more destruction then the cataclysmic Overdrive from fifty years ago. The only person known to have harnessed Etherion was Elies look-a-like Resha Valentine who used it to create the Rave Stones, at the price of her own life at the age of only 15. After reducing the lab to ruins, Seig finds Elie. Bringing down his lightning bolt upon her, he left her for dead. This is Elies first memory outside a few disjoint images of visiting Resha's grave.moreless
