Lance vs. Haru, this should be exciting! Lance reveals that his sword is infused with the powers of Darkbring, which allows him to create illusions. But thanks to it, it can only make those illusions real if the animal bites. Haru is being constantly pushed into the corner with Lance's excellent swordmanship and his illusions. The fight rages on with Haru recklessly throwing slashes at Lance after remembering how Lance killed Musica's family. But Haru is still losing. Then, Musica decides to jump in and bear hug Lance in order to give Haru an opening. Plue also helps out by chaning Lance's arm that holds his sword. But Musica tells Haru to pierce through his body as well.

To tell you the truth, I was kind of glad this episode ended. With no flashblacks or character development, it kind of got boring. I wouldn't have mind if the fighting was great, but like Inuyasha, there's really no sense of direction in them. What Haru calls excellent swordsmanship on Lance's part is really just really strong slashes and hacks. The same scene, which features an angry Haru slashing his sword wildly, has been replayed for like at least a minute. Overall, a pretty mediocre episode.moreless
