Manga vs. Anime
The ending of this episode is altered differently than it ended in the Manga because in the anime, Haru and Elie hug each other, but they don't in the manga.
It is possible this was meant to be done as a send off for the fans of the pairing.
At a much later point in the manga, it is revealed that the skeleton belongs to Sieg Hart.
Even though Lucia is picked as the new leader, he does not officially become the new leader until a few chapters later in the Manga series.
Sieg Hart reveals Musica can't learn magic, but Ruby is capable of learning.
It is revealed that a skeleton of a powerful soceecer used a strong magic barrier, prevented everyone, except the choosen few, from entering a hidden land Symphonia. The magic barrier also protect this area from the Overdrive fifty years ago, so it raises a question of who this skeleton belonged to, and how did he know to create the barrier when it was needed.
Elie learns she has had her power ever since childhood, and she was never cloned from a labatory.
Doryu is mentioned by Berial in this episode. This episode is solid proof that Doryu is a powerful foe because Berial stated that he could be a problem if they don't do something soon.
Based on the episode's dialouge between Haja and Sieg Hart, it is obvious that they have met before, and they were most likely on bad terms.
It is discovered that Sieg Hart is apparently considered to be Iulius's rival.
Sieg Hart is officially an ally of Haru and his friends.
Haru has gotten much stronger since the series began. At this point in both the Anime and the Manga, Haru was able to single-handly fought four members of the Oracion Six at the same time, and he beat them. The only reasons he ran out of power was because of fighting, and Haja cowardly attacked Haru in the back.
There are several changes from the Japanese version. For example, Julius' torturing Elie is shortened, and Sieg Hart doesn't have speaking lines in the Japanese Version of the episode.
It is revealed that Let has a bad history with Jegan, but the reason not revealed until the next episode.
Elie got her first kiss, even though she didn't want to with him.
The place Haru and the gang are located at is called Symphonia, and that name would later be used as the title of the popular video game "Tales of Symphonia." It is unknown whether the title of the video game was taken from this or not.
Let returns in this episode with a different outfit. He now joins the crew on thier quest by the way (he actually states that he joins them just so that he can defeat Haru).
In both the Manga and Anime, Haru and Elie wanted to take the train instead of Musica's ship because they never rode on a train before in their lives.
According to the Manga data pages in Volume three, despite what Musica says about Griff's horse, he is actually a horse.
Sieg Hart puts an end to all of his attempts to kill Elie after the events of this episode. He officially cuts all ties to the Demon Card because he never intended to actually be a part of their organization for long.
Haru and his friends get to see what Shiba use to look like when he was the Rave Master.
