Arthur's Eyes
AIRED:
How do you see things? Different people see things in different ways. And the best way to see things is through caring and understanding. That's what LeVar discusses in this episode as he sees many things in his own way. Comedian Bill Cosby reads the story of Arthur's Eyes, about a young aardvark who becomes self conscious after he learns he must wear eye glasses to see properly, and is afraid his classmates will tease him.moreless

Why don't they play this episode anymore because of the premeer of Arthur? I thought it was an excellent episode, the way I saw it.

One of the parts I really like was where LeVar explains about braille and how blind people read it. Those of you who have seen Reading Rainbow might be aware that there's another episode in the series where you see someone reading a braille book (the 64th episode). I am blind myself and I read braille, too.

I didn't even expect the famous Bill Cosby to narrate the main book. You even get to hear Dr. Mya Angelo read one of her poems (at least I think it's one of her own she may have written).

I was lucky to find a copy of that episode on VHS in my local library. Keep your eyes open and you can find this episode yourself.moreless
