AIRED:
Amanda immaturely implies that she has a much better time with her dad than with her mom. Whilst spending the weekend with her father, Amanda is told that her father has named his latest (Gameboy™) game after her: "AMAZIM". Amanda is then asked to demonstrate the game next week at a convention. Amanda borrows her father's jacket and is shocked by what she finds in the pocket. Consequently, we discover for the first time the plausible reason for the breaking up of Amanda's parents' marriage. With this on her mind, Amanda becomes upset and storms out of the "AMAZIM" demonstration. Feeling guilty of the way she treated her mom, Amanda indirectly apologises to her mom. The episode concludes with an emotional confrontation between Amanda and her father. Some time later, we see Amanda writing a letter to her dad; trying to put into words how she feels about him.moreless

      • I thought this episode was quite an emotional episode. Amanda was totally prepared to move out of her mom's apartment and move in with her dad and thus leave Busy! Busy points out to Amanda that moving in with her dad would mean they would see less of each other, to which Amanda replies, "Well, we can talk on the phone and see each other at weekends...". Busy just raises her eyebrows. Does Amanda really care about Busy? After this episode I felt as though Amanda didn't care about her best friend - certainly not as much as Busy values the friendship. I was disappointed by this, as after all, isn't the essence of the entire series that friends are friends for life; particularly female best friends? If anything, it was certainly a rather selfish thing for Amanda to say.

Check out the table-tennis table at Amanda's dad's apartment; It must be the smallest table-tennis table in the world!

Yet another episode with the PEPSI logo splashed across the screen!

Laura Bertram looked younger in this episode than in the previous one, which may suggest something about the correlation between the recording and transmission schedules of the show.
