It's odd how conspiracy theorists can appear normal, including in scoffing other conspiracies, yet not see the flaws with their own. During the interview with Bill Frist, Maher kept trying to push his own beliefs that the swine flu was a non-problem exaggerated by the medical community, that vaccinations don't work, that the US medical community were seeking to keep the US public sick for the sake of profits, etc. (This US based conspiracy somehow conveniently overlooks stats from the rest of the world, such as the fact that cancer kills in other countries.)
Yet in the very next segment, when actor Richard Bellzer floated his JFK assassination belief (again, as fact), Maher's response was along the lines of "well I've never heard of _that_ version of the theory before..." Maher's eyes didn't roll, but his tone of voice conveyed his scoff.
It was an OK show for the most part. Not one of the better ones from the series, but there have been plenty that were worse.moreless
