Really Wild Animals

Show Summary

Really Wild Animals is a nature TV series developed by the National Geographic Society that set out to educate children on the variety of wild, creepy, crawly, and winged animals in the animal kingdom. Hosted by Spin, the life-like National Geographic logo voiced by the late actor Dudley Moore, Really Wild Animals centers on specific areas around the world in order to show what type of creatures call it home. From the elephants, zebras, and lions roaming the far-stretching safaris of Africa to the weird inhabitants, such as the emu, platypus, and the koala, of the Australian outback to the tough creatures, like the penguins, caribou, and walruses, in the Arctic and Antarctic, no creature is left out in the cold as Spin shares the unique variety of creatures out there in the world. Each episode often highlights a specific issue affecting that particular region, such as deforestation of the rain forests, the harsh reality of the Arctic, and the pollution factor of the oceans. Really Wild Animals is an informative and creative children's series geared to share, explore, and teach about what the world of wildlife has to offer.moreless
