That previous ep was a shocker, it was just so badly written, and fair enough its getting cancelled, its dropped in quality this season so quickly.

But in saying that it was a great show with plenty of potential, but guess it all fell apart somewhere.

Don't forget guys, Reaper's not officially canceled yet - particularly when news is that it's looking more likely ABC is angling to sell it to SciFi or SpikeTV *and* syndicate it to the CW affiliates. All the details here:

    SAVE REAPER !

GET ONE WHITE OR LIGHT COLORED SOCK. ( For our boy, Wysocki )

WRITE "REAPER" ON ONE SIDE, AND YOUR NAME, THE CITY YOU LIVE IN AND THE CALL LETTERS AND CHANNEL THAT YOU WATCH "REAPER" ON.

DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ELSE ON THE SOCK, AND DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ELSE IN THE ENVELOPE.

PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE WITH A SINGLE 42 CENT STAMP AND SEND TO:

    Reaper

Isn't There anything we can do to stop them from canciling "The Reaper"? Seems like all the original ideas get canciled. If they would have had it on where and when it was listed this might not have happened. Do something!

If it manages to somehow get its way back on air, through another network or what not, I am still curious to see whether they will make any drastic changes to pull more viewers in, because as I said, qualtiy has definately dropped, Im sure you can all admit that.

And luckily for them, the final ep of the season, wasnt a final at all and im sure everyone who follows this show is keen to see what happens next.

Seems like they are pulling a "Supernatural". God wants Sam to do something.

"really, really great pilots" doesn't translate into "really, really great" series. Bionic Woman comes to mind. You have to wonder who these people are that make the decisions on what to keep and what to discard. They sure aren't answering email from fans of any show. To this day I still don't know who these people are and who they answer to. Who owns majority stake in the networks? Any idea where you can find that info or is it numbered companies or holding companies again?

ONE LAST PUSH FOR A NEW SEASON: As of this moment we need to assume that ALL of the cast and crew of Reaper have been let go of their contracts. Since this presumably happened on Friday, the window to rectify this is closing fast, and we need to address it RIGHT now. Opening of business is Monday morning.

Thereby, our immediate goals are to inform ABC and ABC Studios that we still: * Support the show. * Believe there is a demand for the show. * Encourage them to re-sign the cast and crew immediately. * Encourage them to offer a contract for the show to syndication (or cable) immediately.

This will most likely be our last opportunity to make a Major Push for a 2009/2010 Season Three, before we will have to move to more long-term goals, such as a 2010/2011 season, movie, or graphic novels. That later. For now, go to http://reaperdmv.com for links, addresses, and details! Why not, people? What do we have to lose?

We need receipts for our Reaper Receipt 1000 campaign. If you've bought the DVDs recently, please consider sending us a scanned copy. We're gathering them to get kick ABC's butt in gear so that they'll *finally* offer a contract to the waiting CW affiliates.

    savereaper@yahoo.com

Make sure to include your name, address, age, and M/F.

You can also snail mail them, we have a PO address. Just ask and I'll give it to you.

    What?! Noooo!!!
Well this totally sucks if they really cancel Reaper!
It's one of my favorite shows? I don't see why they would want to cancel such a great show!!

that is the fate that awaits good shows. If it has good story, good acting and so it is likely to be axed after 1 seasons. If it somehow makes to second season it's bound to be cancelled.

But as was said, it's not completly over so let's keep up the fight till the end so we don't have regrets later about what could have been done but wasn't.

It was reported that syndication talks with CW affiliates fell through as well as attempts to sell the series to Scifi Channel as part of its change over to SyFy after news that both Bret Harrison (Sam) and Tyler Labine ("Sock") would not be returning for season three if the syndication plan proved viable.

    How unfortunate.

awwww, what a shame (you'd think Scifi could find SOMETHING good to do after a lifetime of bad mistakes and a silly namechange).

You'd think those guys would want to come back and had fun working on Reaper.

Either way, CW totally sucks the big one for crapping all over their best show, they are yet again (and now moreso to me) an irelevant and tasteless channel.
