  • It's Christmas time!

    10
Reba always enjoys Christmas because she spends time with her family. When Van and Cheyenne anounce that they want to go away for Christmas Eve, Reba objects. But she caves, and lets them go. Later Brock walks in and tells her that Jake really wants to spend Christmas Eve at his house. She lets him go. After everyone leaves, Kyra asks if she could go to a Christmas party, and Reba agrees. Feeling lonely, she volunters at a soup kitchen where she meets an old man. They have a nice conversation, and he tells her that her family is together in her heart. Reba is happy, and as he's about to leave, he takes her cookies and says that he will give them to his reindeer (he's Santa Clause). After a big storm starts, Reba calls Kyra's friends house and tells them it's best if she spent the night. Just then, she walks in, and tells her that she couldn't let Reba be all alone. Just then Van and Cheyenne walk in and tell Reba that they have such great traditions, and there's no need to start new ones. Later Jake comes in with Brock, BJ, and Henry. Brock says that Jake wanted to leave a note on his bed so Santa will find him. The storm continues, and they're all forced to spen the night. In the middle of the night, Reba and Brock discuss their old traditions, and how grat they were. As Brock goes to sleep on the couch, we see the tin of cookies that Santa took on the coffee table.moreless
  • Christmas with Reba.

    6.0
Poor Reba. She is looking so forward to Christmas with her family, but they all want to do their own thing.

I liked how, even though they all went seperate ways, they all found their way back to Reba. She was felling so left out and unloved, and everyone realized that she is the one that keeps everyone together. Of course, it took Santa to remind Reba of that.

Santa not liking Reba's cooking was kind of funny, even though it came from left field. There has never been any indication of her being a bad cook before this, so that caught me as strange, but it was funny.moreless
