Ugh, to me, Barbra Jean just seemed so over the top this season and I hope they fix this next season!!!

This episode wasn't the best but it was still good, mainly because Van and the Cheyenne storyline which to me saves this episode!!!

As of late it seems as if the Van Character is what has been helping these episodes this year! It just seemed like they got new writers or something, Barbra Jean seems different this year!!!moreless
  • Typical sitcom formula

From the summary, you find out that Reba has high blood pressure, and the insurance doctor thinks it's due to Barbara Jean. I know the character of BJ is that she is suppose to be annoying, funny, and yet enduring. But man, this episode her character though funny at times is now generally irritating.

BJ has a key to Reba's house, enters whenever she wants, always trying to force Reba to do something, and overall BJ is just a ditz. I really wanted to slap her this episode for some reason.

I know that the relationships Reba has is supposedly the way it is set, but really, how realistic is this situation? Your ex-husband cheated on you, moved nearby, had a kid with the mistress and the mistress expects that you and her will be best of friends?! I wish once Reba just did something mean and stand up for herself.

Oh well, I guess that's what makes this show funny and enjoyable as it is. But really, couldn't they have a different formula for this show to make it refreshing? I wish that Reba just lied to Barbara Jean and said, "yes you are the cause of my high blood pressure" and then maybe let her back in her life later to make it humorous.

Though the only funny aspect was Van and Cheyanne, "will you market my?" Not their best episode or season in general and as I said before, I hope next season will be fresh and exciting to watch Reba again.moreless
