  • Overall pretty funny, but also kind of silly at times too.

    7.0
The show was funny in parts. Funny enough for me to rate it higher than how I felt the actual story of the episode deserved.

Van has been and continues to be my favorite character on the show. He always seems to be able to push the comedy extremly well. Barbra Jean is also funny, but she leans towards the silly more often than not, while Van can do almost all differnt types of comedy it seems. His little rant about losing the commisions for the houses had me rolling.

Now, about the story. I know they need to have some kind of serious issue to to keep it grounded, and Reba has always been good at having the serious issue there, yet still make you laugh. However, this story doesn't seem like the right path to me. I can't really put my finger on why, but it just seems like a bad choice to me. I hope I'm wrong and they do well with this story in the future, but I have a bad feeling about it.moreless
