When Van is avoiding answering the door because Reba is on the other side & upset with him, he says "What do you expect! it's a comedy, people get hurt in comedies" This is him breaking what's called the 4th wall & talking/acknowledging theaudience.
Reba makes a mention of Dolly Parton. Dolly Parton is Reba's idol. She's also appeared on the show once as a real estate agent, Dolly Majors.
This episode and Episode 86, "Reba's Rules of Real Estate" both make a reference to Dolly Parton's breasts, particularly the size of them.
At the end of the episode a photo is taken of the Hart/Montgomery family and paused for a second, followed by a picture taken from Cheyenne's wedding six and a half years ago. In the background the theme song I'm a Survivor is heard throughout both photos.
Van: Man, my shirt stinks.
Kyra: The washer's broken, do you have your magic butter knife?
Van: OH HAHHAH!
Kyra: Once again you've won an argument with your wit.
Van: I am a moron and a jerk, I am a merk.
Van: We're all sad and happy. We're sappy.
Reba: Don't you see what's happening here? You're becoming Brock, Brock's becoming me, and I'm becoming you!
Reba: I'm becoming Barbra Jean? Why couldn't I just be Dolly Parton?
(Reba looks down at her chest and shakes her head no)
Barbra Jean: Can you believe it Reba? Six years ago this family was falling apart and then I came in and put everything back together.
Brock: Barbra Jean, that's not exactly the way I'd put it.
Reba: Hang on Brock, Barbra Jean's right, we got through it all, because we're survivors.
