i love the episode where its a little different then normal so thats why this episode is so great . If anyone knows where I can get it just email me try_again_14@hotmail.com and lemme know. okay this is by far the best episode i have even seen! I think that the best acting goes to Van well steve howey by far the way he acted drunk. Were you really drunk by any chance? It was just soooo freaking funny. I just can't wait till I can get my hands on a copy because then I will over watch. AWESOME!moreless
  • No that good

    5.0
I think that "Where There's Smoke" was not as funny as the episodes usually are.

Where There's Smoke starts out with Cheyanne smoking, and Reba telling her it's not good for her. Cheyanne explains that she needs some kind of stress reliever and that she thinks of tobacco as a vegetable. Just shows how stupid she is. Barbara Jean says that smoking draws all the people away from you and so on. Then while Cheyanne is in her room smoking, Van comes in and sees the pills. Cheyanne explains that if she takes them and she drinks, she will become violently sick. Which leads up to seeing Reba search through Cheyanne's purse, discover the pills and stupidly eats one. Who would eat a pill without looking at what your taking? Then just to save your spouse, you don't tell your spouse's mom that she will be sick if she drinks. How stupid, especailly knowing that there will be a party at night with a lot of drinking. How is it possible to spit out your gum and have it land perfectly in a glass a couple feet away? Then Van gulps down a full glass of wine (or whatever it was) followed bottle of beer, leading up to him getting drunk. Only of course he's not drunk right away. He seems to act normal until he has to go upstairs.

This is the first episode of the 5th season, couldn't they have made it a bit better? I mean that new song is unbearable. Well yes, its the same voice and lyrics, but the new music in the background is just so much worse than the seasons before. Or the music they play when they show the front of the house like after the opening credits. I'm no fan of country music, but season 1,2,3, and 4s music is okay. I'll just finish by saying this episode isn't too great.moreless
  • I think this episode was out of character for Reba.

    4.0
This episode was a disappointment because it was not constructed very well. I think if they would have tweaked the scenes and put them in a different order then it would have been a lot funnier. For example, when Van came downstairs in his underwear drunk.... that was obviously just to fill time up. That scene could have been dealt with a lot better. Reba's name goes on every episode so she had to have liked it. Also, I think they should drop the storyline about chyanne being an \"alcoholic" Well see how next weeks episode goes. As for it being the last season of "Reba" its far from it. The "WB" has renewed the show for two more years at least.moreless
  • This episode was a disappointment. It lacked the charm and heart that most of the previous episodes have had.

    2.9

This episode did not make sense and lacked the charm and depth of most of the episodes of Reba. I have always loved this show because it had heart, real wit, showed struggles in a way that made you feel what the characters were feeling and charm. Van's personality seemed to be different, and not in an appealing way, from previous seasons.

If the writing doesn't improve, I predict that this is the last season of Reba.moreless
