How/Why did Mouse PREPARE to track the Web creature? Although her motives aren't as clear, she obviously came to Mainframe, sent by Turbo, to find more information on the Web Creature. Thus, Turbo was alerted (assumingly) when Mouse triggered that "wrist band" (which is later referred to as a "communicator in the next episode).
The reason why Hexadecimal and Megabyte, when combined, make Gigabyte is because, later, in Season 4, it tells the story of Welman Matrix who targeted the Supercomputer but inadvertently brought back a virus named Gigabyte instead. It was too much for his machine to handle so it caused an explosion, which later seperated Gigabyte into two viruses-Hexadecimal and Megabyte.
(Gigabyte has Bob and Dot cornered)
Bob: Dot, I... wanna tell you...
Dot: I know, Bob. I know.
Bob: I am Guardian 452. State your name and function!
Gigabyte: I am become Gigabyte, destroyer of systems!
Bob: Not this system, bub.
Mouse: Uh... listen, thank you, Dot, that was some mighty fine flyin' there.
Dot: Moving into final position, Mouse. Be quick! There's a massive energy fluctuation. This is the weakest part of the containment field.
Mouse: Tell me about it.
Hack: No way, fatso!
Slash: No way! We're a gang!
Dot: Well, what should I do?
Mouse: If you're not too busy, honey, you could fix me an energy shake.
Dot: But our zip boards! We won't be able to escape.
Bob: I know.
Dot: And you can wipe that smile off your face!
Bob: Alright, Hex. Start talkin'! You and Megabyte were beginning to merge back there!
Hexadecimal: (weakly) We are from the same viral strain.
Bob: Same viral strain? You mean the same family?
Hexadecimal: Oh, much worse. He is my BROTHER!!! (laughs insanely.)
Bob: But you two are always trying to kill each other.
Hexadecimal: Oh, that's just sibling rivalry.
Gigabyte: "This is your last line of defense? Two small sprites?"
Enzo: "That's right! Two sprites! A girl!"
AndrAIa: "A boy!"
Enzo: "And his dog!"
AndrAIa: "Get 'em Frisket!
Gigabyte: "I am become Gigabyte! Destroyer of Systems!"
Gigabyte's first line, "I am become Gigabyte, destroyer of systems," is a modification of Vishnu's line from the Hindu Bhagavad-Gita: "I am become Death, destroyer of worlds."
In the scene where Bob, Dot, and Gigabyte are in the blind alley, Bob says "Glitch -- away!" But in the next shot of Bob, Glitch is shown on his arm. In the shot after that, Glitch is missing.
The vehicle Dot uses to pick up Megabyte has "Welly's Data Retrieval Systems" and "Caution: Motion Overhead" written on it.
The name of Mouse's ship is Ship, and it has her symbol on the tail.
Along with Gigabyte, Blu Mankuma has also played another CGI animated character, Tigatron, on the series Beast Wars.
Character Debut: Gigabyte.
Bob uses his car to get away from Megabyte, but in an earlier episode ("Painted Windows"), he traded the car in for a motorcycle.
He could have traded it back. Anyways, we don't even know if he traded his car in the first place. Anyone hear the word 'Traded'. He could have just bought it.
Mouse returns to Mainframe in this episode, but brings a hidden objective with her.
This episode reveals that Hexadecimal and Megabyte are Brother and Sister.
When Gigabyte approaches Bob and Dot, he scrapes his claws against a wall. This is similar to a scene in A Nightmare on Elm Street, where Freddy Krueger scrapes his finger knives against a wall as he advances on his victim.
Bob identifies himself as Guardian 452, which has been confirmed by the show creators (who are British) as being a reference to a policeman in the old British childrens series "Camberwick Green"; Police Constable McGarry, 452 was his badge number.
Gigabyte's line "I am become Gigabyte, destroyer of systems", is a reference to Robert Oppenheimer, the "father of the atomic bomb". After witnessing the first atomic test, Trinity, Oppenheimer is reputed to have whispered "I am become Death, destroyer of worlds".
The original quote is from Hindu scripture and is attributed to Vishnu.
The game console/"thing" Mouse is using to contain the tear looks just like a Sony Playstation (controller).
When Gigabyte is first seen, he is on one knee, in a small crater, much like "The Terminator".
