Again a good adaptation of the book, but not following to the true story. It has to be said that, but this has to happen because you can't put a book into 1hours worth of viewing. Sometimes the whole series appears disjointed, but again its like everything, where the book is adapted for television or even the big screen. I would say to anyone, who has read the book, don't watch the programme ( unless you like to see Edinburgh and the surrounding area) But for those 1st timers watch the programme and then read the book. You will enjoy the book better.moreless
