Lister: ...Major Tom!
As it has been said many times, Back in the Red would have worked better as a one hour special (now on the DVD by the way). This fact becomes most apparent in this episode, as plot-wise the escape goes on too long. However, the jokes keep coming thick and fast, mainly centring on the Cat’s tap dancing scene with the Blue Midget space crafts to impress the Ground Controller, and culminating in Lister’s ultimate revenge against Rimmer. Although not the best, this is better than the previous episode.
