  • Nitpick is the end was rushed

Last night, Mordecai and Rigby have gone to take part in karaoke. Unfortunately though, in singing, they unknowingly say bad things about Benson and their other housemates. Now, they must get rid of the evidence of this incident before anyone finds out. An excellent episode of Regular Show and nice way to end season 2. It was hilarious that Mordecai and Rigby actually made fun of Benson, Skips, and Pops and they didn't want them to find out. The part when the gang was at the Carey O'Keys was cool especially the fight scene. Overall, a perfect episode but I thought the ending was very rushed so I won't take off points for that. 10/10moreless
  • When you have reallicensed tracks for an otherwise "real" adventure in the life of Mordecai and Rigby, you get an improved episode with appeal.

    8.5
New episodes ended until Fall of 2011 with this show. If this episode it any indicator of how future episodes will go, people will further love, or hate the episode.

Regular Show is known for it's rather seemingly normal everyday plots, that get turned around and turn into a drug induced trip through the minds of crazy people. While some people really enjoy this, others cock their head and turn away. I personally view it as fine, but it can get over the top.

What made this episode stand out so much to be was how we got to really see this surprising side of Mordecai and Rigby, that in fact they really seem to have gripes about everyone at their work. Even people who are helpful or otherwise nice to them, like Pops or Skips. This episode also gives us a nice pacing with no supernatural occurrence, which was refreshing. It was a "Real life" episode with no crazy magic that is often started by an electric zap. This episode was also one of the few to not include a vehicle chase, which usually involves a golf cart.

Continuing the shows 80s vibe, the characters who sing, sang reallicensed tracks from the era. This episode had a good plot, and showed the show was insightful and entertaining without going overboard. Dare I say, I preferred this to the "Regular" insanity of other episodes? I guess I shouldn't say.

  • this episode was ok

    5.5
ok first off this episode was ok why? it didn't have that much action like all the other episodes do . it wasn't that funny. and i didn't even know the SONGS! I mean seriously teens watch this show and do songs from like the 80's. and the part when they insulted Benson, Skips, and Pops was just a bad idea. it would've been funnier if they insulted muscle man and high 5 ghost. it would've made more since and the fight would've been more awesome. the funny parts were was Mordecia and Rigby's face when they found out they insulted them. And the part when Benson broke his nose and he was yelling at them. those were the highlights of the episode. Overall and OK episodemoreless
  • Mordecai and Rigby watch the karaoke video on the night they went to Karaoke Night and saw that they were making fun of Benson, Pops, and Skips so Mordecai and Rigby have to get rid of the video before Benson, Pops, and Skips watch it on Karaoke Nightmoreless

    9.5
I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Regular Show". It would have been a 10 but the ending was just lousy in my opinion. The plot is that Mordecai and Rigby went to Karaoke Night where they sang the song "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sisters. The next day, Mordecai and Rigby get the karaoke video from last night and watch it. Mordecai and Rigby were happy of how they were singing last night but things got bad when Mordecai and Rigby were making fun of Benson, Pops, and Skips on the karaoke video and the two of them must get the karaoke video before Benson, Pops, and Skips go watch it on Karaoke night. Has anyone noticed that Mordecai and Rigby didn't make fun of MuscleMan in the karaoke video? I just had to point that out for those of you that didn't notice that. Mordecai and Rigby singing "We're Not Gonna Take It" By Twisted Sisters was very funny. Mordecai and Rigby's reactions when they saw that they were making fun of Benson, Pops, and Skips was very funny. There were a couple of more funny parts as well. Overall, the ending is the reason why I didn't give this episode a 10 but this episode was excellent for the most part in my opinion. 9.5/10moreless
