Okay this show is simply amazing, enough said. It may have some weak plot points, but overall, compared to the rest of Cartoon Network's shows, this is the one to watch. While not as good as adventure time, I still love it. Every episode is entertaining to watch, and that says something.
Just like Nick and Disney, Cartoon Network has gone on a downward spiral with abominations like "The Amazing World of Gumball" and "The Problem Solverz"... After watching a few episodes, I grew fond of the show. It's hilarious, I LOVE the characters, and it has interesting story-lines. Overall, pretty satisfying show.
I have seen my share of bad cartoons (fan boy and chum chum) and some of the best (hey arnold batman animated series 1992 beavis and butthead) i kno that todays generation may not live up to the past but this show is fucking awsome compared to what is on tv now there is a lot of crap it has the adult feel to it for most people its that generation thing our parents were saying the same thing about our shows there are people out there who think batman sucks but when they say it they get bashed for it look i dont see any of u making any thing any better so pipe down and enjoy the show and learn to have some appreciation and respect for these creators at least theyre doing something a
I don't get what everybody has against this show. Sure, sometimes the jokes get old, but give it another chance. It's a good show that people mistake for a bad one.
I apologize in advance to the fans of this show, but everyone has an opinion on something, and my opinion on Regular Show is that it sucks. Really, really sucks! I watched some of this show, I thought I'd give it a chance and I originally gave it a mediocre score. But now that I've watched more of it, I realize now just how shitty this cartoon is.
Regular Show doesn't offer much of anything entertaining. Most of the characters are annoying, the plots are pretty random and stupid, and it doesn't have very good animation. Mordecai and Rigby, I'm sad to say, are the main characters. Their very lazy, and do whatever they can to skip out on doing work. Benson is loud, Pops sort of creeps me out, and Muscle Man is just unbearable.
The plots for the show are strange. They always seem culminate in the characters going into some crazy other world or a different dimension, usually due to Mordecai and Rigby doing something stupid. It's just too freakin' weird for me. The humor for this show sucks most of the time, particularly whenever Muscle Man ends a question with "My Mom! Wooooo!" Also, there are a lot of innuendos in Regular Show. It's great that Cartoon Network is showing kids a raccoon joking about "pulling hammies". Not! I'm really concerned for the next generation of children.
I will admit that Regular Show has got some really cool music. And Skips is a pretty cool character. But apart from those things, I do not like this cartoon at all. While Regular Show's not as bad as other shit on Cartoon Network now, like Johnny Test, Annoying Orange and Amazing World of Gumball, I still think it's a really overrated cartoon that doesn't deserve it's popularity. Ugh! I'm gonna get so much heat for this review. Oh well.

So you got the typical cast. Mordecai and Rigby, "the slackers", Pops "the calm one", Muscle Man and Hi-Five ghost, "the partiers", Skips "the nearby handyman that gets M&R out of their crazy s**t, and Benson "the typical angry boss" Would've gave it an 8 but Benson seems like a dick.

The funniest characters on this show are Rigby and Skips. Giving it a 7 because MM's mom jokes get very old. EXAMPLE: You know who else kicked the bucket? My mom!
I don't really care if this gets low views because we're entitled to our opinions.
When I saw previews to this show, I automatically assumed that it'd be a waste of time and I was right when a friend of mine told me to give it a chance. Watching it, a lot of jokes were repetitive and get old pretty fast, the humor was hits and misses and just felt lazy. Granted that I seldom watch it when there's nothing else on, I just laugh at it because of how terrible it is and its daringness is also surprising because of what others are saying in their reviews: the words and the rating. If it were placed on a later time slot or in Adult Swim (where it should be), it might be better, because it feels like it's being held back from it's potential by its current time slot.
Stupid as hell. Worst characters ever, worst title of a TV show ever, worst catchphrases ever, etc. The concept is EXTREMELY stupid. Why would someone watch a show on two lazy workers who don't want to do shit all day, a gumball machine that needs anger management, a stupid green asshole who uses the same joke ALL THE TIME and a guy who skips (it doesn't even look like he's skipping) -____- Who created this poor, crappy, excuse for a show? Chimpanzee's?
It's a funny cartoon, more adult then kid but can be kid friendly at a certain age. I'm no parent so I don't care about that, what I do care about are laughs and this show made me laugh. This show is easily recommendable.

This show is awesome! The only good show on cartoon network, this is absolutely entertaining, and has hilarious characters. I love the contrast of a normal day that at some point or another becomes supernatural. I can't decide a funniest character, they're all awesome :D!
So here's the thing: I like this show and AdventureTime a lot, but apparently i'm wrong and should somehow 'feel bad' just because those shows are "not real cartoons", I mean does that even make sense? Just because you don't like them doesn't make everyone has to.
Why do people waste their time complaining that this show, Adventure Time, Gumball etc is bad compared to the old CN cartoons when they don't even have a logical explanation why its better? Also, I'm tad fed up with people complaining on the Internet "Old CN better" "We want the Old CN Back" etc. It's weird because I myself grew up in the late 90s/early 00s with people actually saying "Dexter's Lab is bullshit" and "Cow and Chicken is for dumb asses" (I liked both those now all of a sudden, it's greater and better than everything else on CN combined--So if a show like Johnny Test (which alot of people hate) gets canned and if we all look back at it years from now, will we hear something like "Johnny needs to comeback" or "This show was the best"? Probably will.
I get that many cartoons back then are better than the ones we have nowadays, but do these people really need to preach to the choir about it. There's Cartoon Planet, Boomerang, DVDs, Netflix now, and the God Damn Internet etc. for a reason people!
CN obviously cares about ratings, and if they rerun old shows all the time, then what good would that do them? New content is obviously needed. another thing, things change, time flies fast. I was one of those crybabies whining for the old CN back, but you know what, I just said fuck it, get over it, it's time to move on!
It's sad that now days they have this kinds of cartoons for kids.. CN should be ashamed of this HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE show... Take it off the air please!!!!
the first time I saw this tv thought "this is soooooooooooo Now, it is the main thing that i watch on cartoon and adventure time. I love the humor, graphics, art, language, sounds, EVERYTHING! its all halarious!
This show is the only reason I watch CartoonNetwork anymore. I will admit it's not perfect, but it can still be pretty funny! I mean they even had the phrase, "Pissed off" in one of the first episodes! Not saying its funny that they had the character say that, but it still is funny that they did actually say something like that. The plot can be good, but some are not. But for the good plots, those episodes can be random and pretty funny and enjoyable. Animation is pretty good, so nothing bad there.
I like the episode with the British taxi oh here is a even better one when mordecie and margret kissed lol that was so funny when she said he had bad breath.
This show is the stupidest show that Cartoon Network ever produced even worse then Adventure Time and I'd rather watch that then this. That is why I really don't like to watch Cartoon Network anymore because of what they put on there.
When I looked at the previews for this show, it looked terrible. Despite this, I decided to take a look at this show. My, my, I was really impressed with the quality of this show. The show itself is about two friends named Mordecai and Rigby who work as groundkeepers. The story itself seems boring, and the plots are rehashed, but the thing I really enjoyed was the fact that the plots are done in the most bizzare ways possible. It not only feels original and fresh, it also gives you a taste of CN back in the days. The animation is done fairly nice, and the artwork feels decent enough. The humor itself is also funny and original if not, inspired. I also enjoyed how well the plots are executed, showing how unpredictable this show. All of this seems good right? Well, yeah. That is, until we get into the characters. The characters are so annoying that they kind of ruin the experience for me. Rigby is selfish and very annoying, and basically everything you would hate about someone. Not to mention how annoying his voice is. Mordecai is somewhat better, and can be just as whiny as Rigby at times. Margaret is boring and seems to be just a filler. Pops is OK, and Skips too, but the way he skips... is weird. I know he's called Skips, but it doesn't really look like skipping. Benson is also very annoying and is too harsh on Mordecai and Rigby. I know they slack off, but he gets mad over the dumbest things and takes life way too seriously. But the worst character on this by far is Mitch; He is very annoying, stupid, and pisses me off with his "your mom" jokes. Ugh! And the characters are not the only bad thing. The "your mom" jokes in general are very annoying, and the fact that cussing is used is not tolerable on CN.
All in all, while it does suffer from some major problems, Regular Show is a real stand out. I am hoping to see the characters improve as well. So while Regular Show isn't a home-run, it is an enjoyable experience overall.
Presentation:9.5/10 What really impressed me was not the plots, it was how the plots were executed.
Animation: 7.5/10 Fine, but it's not really anything new. It is fun to look at, though.
Voice: 7.5/10 Like the animation, it's good, but it's not exactly what I call original, either.
Entertainment: 7.5/10 I'm loving the humor now, but there is much to be desired when it comes to the characters.
Lasting Appeal: 9.5/10 While the characters are annoying, the fact that how unpredictable this show could get would leave you begging for more.
In my opinion, this show is KIND of overrated. I mean, it's not a horrible show, but on the flip-side, I don't think it's amazing either. I know that f**king everything up and doing weird unexplainable things is supposed to be the joke, but it's only funny about 50% of the time. The other 50% is doing s**t that doesn't even make sense. Like, in one episode they prank call someone and then get sucked into the 1980s? That ended up being completely unexplained and unfunny. Now, don't you go thinking that I'm saying that every episode of this show, because that's not true. I've seen some decent episodes. I'm just saying that an 8 or a 9 is a bit overrated for a show like this. I think a 7 is fair enough given the quality and humor displayed in the show.
Cartoon Network shows have a sense of humor and imagination unseen on Nickelodeon. Unlike Nick, Comparing the newer shows on Nick compared to the ones on Cartoon Network, Cartoon Network doesn't restrict their shows to a narrow boundary dependent on using potty humor and poor character development. The particular stuff we see on Nickelodeon shows like "Fanboy and Chum Chum" and "Planet Sheen" never matches up to what we see on Cartoon Network. Regular Show is one clear example. You will mostly have a mixed reaction once you first see Regular Show. Let's just make clear what Regular Show is about first. Regular Show is about two young groundkeepers, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby. They dislike their jobs and would rather play video games and go to parties. Once a problem sets in they set out to fix it. There are a lot of strange characters in Regular Show. For example: Benson, their boss, is a gumball machine. Then there's Pop's, a guy with a lolipop for a head. Next, there's Skips a Yeti who seems to know how to fix pretty much any problem. Finally, Muscle man and High Five Ghost. The strange characters are kind of amusing and add quite a bit to the show. You can get used to the characters pretty fast. The Plots are pretty clever and imaginative. Typical problems and into strange supernatural problems. For example: Rigby doesn't do the audit on the computer correctly and then everything starts disappearing in 1's and 0's. Another example: Mordecai and Rigby try to throw a birthday party for Skips, they find out he sucludes in the woods to do a ritual every year on his birthday. Mordecai and Rigby disturb Skips from the ritual angering the "Guardians of Youth". It's actually one thing you can enjoy watching. One particular thing is that there is a bit of mild language and innuendo that will fly over anyone that's too young to get it. The language is nothing that hasn't been seen in a PG rated movie. Really Cartoon Network doesn't really targeted the youngest set of kids. There is no CN Junior. I feel older kids will able to handle it. Whenever parents feel them old enough. Even though Regular Show is a bit edgy. Regular Show is smart ,clever ,and imaginative. The Characters are easy to get used to and add to the shows cleverity. Regular Show is anything but regular. It's certainly one of the better shows on Cartoon Network.

Two best friends, a blue jay called Mordecai and a brown raccoon called Rigby, work as groundskeepers at a park and spend their days trying to entertain themselves by any means, much to the chagrin of Benson, a high-tempered gumball machine, and Skips, a pants-wearing yeti but to the delight of Pops, a naïve gentleman with a lollipop-shaped head. Muscle Man, an overweight and green man who frequently removes his shirt, and High-Five Ghost, a ghost with a hand extending from the top of his head, are both neutral about Rigby and Mordecai's shenanigans
This show is about a Bluejay named Mordecai and a Raccoon named Rigby, who are slackers who work at a company and live in the same house. I would say that the show can be pretty weird at times. It reminds me of one of those Adult Swim shows but edited to make it suitable for everyone. However it can also be pretty entertaining at times, however I don't really watch it very often, it's more of a show that I watch when nothing else is on. The humor is hit and miss, with some real good laughs. It seems to have gotten better as it has reached season two. I think it could turn out to be a good show in the future, the only problems I have with it is the animation (Rigby looks creepy when he is looking up, because his eyeballs are now under him) and some of the writing.
