  • We finally get to see the sisters with their mom.

    8.5
This episode tugged on my heartstrings throughout. It was beautiully put together! It zeroed in on each sister's individual relationship with her mother, each of their personalities and each of their insecurities. Rose's memories or lack thereof. Seeing Rose's heartache over her fading memories of mom made my heart ache. The episode so artfully put together that the viewers can truly understand the pain of losing someone so important as a mother. Rose's performance had me rivited to the screen, my heart in my throat. It was so intense and yet in the end cathartic as well. Overall, masterful work!moreless
  • Thanksgiving episode!

    9.5
First of all, the flashbacks are so great in this episode! They are really sweet, but so sad... I loved learning more about the girls and Francesca.

Plus I loved the thing with Bob and him having to keep going to the grocery store, and his whole Prince Harry thing.

It was really sad, the thing with Renee though... But the scene at the hospital with Rose was so sad, but so sweet. I loved it, and cried!

Plus it's Thanksgiving! So there's all kind of fun Sorelli traditions and banter! It's so much better that any other episode! I loved it!moreless
  • I laughed. I cried.

This episode was so sad. It made me cry in the end. I can't even imagine how hard it must have been for the girls to lose their mother at such young ages, especially Rose. She hardly even remember her mother. Definitely one of the best episodes of the season
  • The BEST episode so far! So Emotional. The cast did an excellent job.

The flashbacks were great. Alot was told about the sisters when they were younger. It was funny in some parts but SO emotional in alot of the scenes.

You finally get to see Ginnie lash out at someone (Renee). She always puts on a nice act but she got really got upset at Renee when she burned a little bit of her mothers recipe cards. I would too. That's like the last thing of her they all have.

Anne as a child was loud and rude. She defintly changed after her mother passed. Ginnie was the good daughter. Helped her mom. And Rose was to little to judge.

The emotion Rose gave when she couldnt remember her mother's face, was so real and heartfelt.

Overall this was an awesome, emotional roller-coaster. This helped the series pick up alot. The writing was so good. This is why I love this show.moreless
