  • All the romantic angst and tortured souls one could ask for.

It's been a while, but I remember just PINING after watching this episode. For Leo and his family mourning the death of his mother, for the fervor of Leo and Isabel wanting to take their relationship to the next level, and for that final picturesque moment when you know everything is that much deeper, that much stronger, that much more connected for the two lovers. A nice balance between the emotional poignancy of the unveiling, and the comedy of never having the right place at the right time (Doug: "C'mon, show me the nail marks." -- hilarious!!). Sure, perhaps a little too sappy and sentimental for some, but when you're caught up in that moment of watching the episode, it all builds to the perfect dramatic climax. Special nod to Devon Gummersall for, well, just being the amazing actor he always is, but especially in this episode. Perfectly embodied the character and the character's situation in his tombside memorial.
