  • Sydney and Nigel are after a 1940s baseball glove.

    4.0
Sydney - who is known as a Professor of 'Ancient Studies' - becomes involved with finding a baseball glove belonging to a 1940s player (Jimmy). From start to finish, this story is not very interesting and some secondary characters are not very well acted. A 50-year old glove is neither ancient or a relic - and Sydney's intimate knowledge of baseball doesn't seem credible (especially as her knowledge of sport is hardly ever mentioned again in the series). Even how her adversaries in this story (Kurt and Tony) seem to know where she and Nigel are - is not explained very well. A very disappointing episode and not like most relic-hunting episodes in the series.moreless
