The story starts out with Sydney and Nigel helping out an inexperienced relic hunter (Frederick) in finding an ancient scepter. They follow Frederick's directions and eventually find the scepter in a cave - after avoiding a few traps. Frederick then takes the scepter to give to the Louvre. However, the Louvre haven't heard from Frederick and now accuse Sydney and Nigel of helping him to steal the scepter for his own use. Sydney and Nigel track down Frederick in a hotel but the scepter is gone - sold for money. After threatening to 'torture' Frederick, he tells them that the new owner is a diplomat at the Turkish Embassy (Aziz Habasi). Sydney then enters a verbal joust with Habasi - where she tries to find where the scepter is in the Embassy. This is quite entertaining - very different to Sydney physically fighting to achieve an outcome. Sydney finds that the scepter is protected by a high-tech security system - so she and Nigel fake that they have the scepter. Frederick is allowed to escape from the hotel and he tells Habasi that Sydney has the relic. Habasi becomes concerned and checks the scepter is ok - and Sydney then takes it from him and runs out of the Embassy. The police - that Nigel has called - arrive at the Embassy and arrest Frederick.

This is quite an entertaining episode and there is some chemistry between Sydney and Habasi. There is a funny scene where a maid finds Frederick in the hotel - tied to a chair with his trousers down at his feet - and she calls him 'perverted'! Michel Albertini - who plays Habasi - is very good as the suave but corrupt diplomat.moreless
