EDIT
The New Actor
AIRED:
Scott Sherwood is out as station manager, Rollie Pruitt is in, and the search for a new actor begins as Jeff decides to go back to London to do more broadcasting for the BBC, much to Hilary's chagrin. ("Pumpkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnn!!!") But how much longer does Mackie have before all of his 1000 voices melt into one? A last minute audition brings back a familiar face, one actor everyone can agree on, and someone that is a part of the WENN family.moreless

      • Pruitt: Mr. Mackie Bloom.
Mackie: That's what my friends call me, but you can call me that, too.
Pruitt: As you know, the enterprising Mr. Scott Sherwood has departed WENN-
Mackie: Yes, well you can't win them all.
Pruitt: -and I, for the time being, will serve as business manager for this station.
Mackie: Well, you can't win them all.

      • Maple: (voice over) Now stay tuned for Supper with Hilary Booth, coming up next on WENN Pittsburgh.
Gertie: Supper with Hilary Booth...while I'm eating. Tom, would you mind changing the station?
Mr. Eldridge: Change the station? Oh, my I don't even know where I'd begin. We could use some more dance music, I know that.
Gertie: No, I mean change the tuning.
Mr. Eldridge: Of course the music has to be in tune.

      • Hilary: Ah, here's Simmons, our stupendously inconsiderate and tardy gardener.
