    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Remington had to walk right past the fish tank to get to Todd's office. He would have seen Laura or Todd, or heard Laura calling for help.

      • It's so thoughtful of Mr. Steele to put a rug in his living room so later he could pull it from under Todd's and Clarissa's feet. That rug had never been there before, and after this episode Mr. Steele apparently put it away.

      • Laura says "three years of building up the agency," which contradicts the dates mentioned in other episodes such as "In the Steele of the Night", "Red Holt Steele", "Forged Steele", and "Bonds of Steele."

    • QUOTES (5)

      • (during a dream sequence)
Laura: Your leaving forced me to evaluate my life, and I realized I was ready to make emotional commitments after all.
        Steele: And have you?
Laura: Many times. Three in the last hour, as a matter of fact.

      • Steele: I finally understand that I've stayed around not for the promise of what our relationship might be but for the reality of what it is.

      • Laura: (after being attacked by sea snakes)It wasn't a fair fight! They have more teeth than I do!

      • Steele: (to Laura) I don't know about you, but I always find violence and destruction gives me a hunger.

      • Laura: Who are you really?
        Steele: Does that really matter?
Laura: It matters only that you won't tell me.
