    • QUOTES (6)

      • George Liquor: (to Ren after he has hit him with an oar 27 times) You....are a true champion!

      • Narrator: But when the dark, hoary clouds of despair darken your doorstep, look for that one ray of hope come shinin' down from above.
        (the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah is heard)
        Dog Catcher: (runs over Ren and Stimpy with his truck) Hot diggity dog! I filled my quota for the day!

      • George Liquor: Let's see..where'll we put you? (sees goldfish in a bowl) What's this crap? (dumps fish out of the fish bowl)
        (The fish flops out of house and into the car where it dons a hat and cigarette)
        Goldfish: I'm outta here, man. (drives off and crashes into two mailboxes)

      • George Liquor: (sarcastic) Here's 20 bucks. Why don't you take the car? Why don't you go see a movie?
        Ren: Maybe I would take the car, but the goldfish took it! (instantly regrets saying what he said)
        George Liquor: Oh, a smart mouth? A smart mouth, are you? You know what we do with smart mouths around here, don't you? We give 'em a...nother 20 bucks!

      • George Liquor : Hi, I'm George Liquor American!

      • Ren: He's dead, you idiot! Don't you know what 'dead' means?

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • :: Man's Best Friend
        The opening in which George Liquor buys Ren and Stimpy from the pet shop is actually John K.'s tribute to the classic Chuck Jones Warner Bros. cartoon "Elmer's Pet Rabbit" (1941) with Bugs Bunny.

      • :: Big House Blues
        The scene where Ren accidentally kisses Stimpy is actually John K.'s tribute to the 1941 Bob Clampett cartoon starring Daffy Duck, "A Coy Decoy."
