It's always hard to say goodbye to a great show like Reno 911!. But a good thing about a show like Reno is that it will always go out with a bang. This episode lived up Reno standards and gave us a twist that no one saw coming.moreless

"Superb"

The episode started at the safety assembly in a local Reno school. The Reno Sheriff's Department was doing a wonderful band performance, while Trudy showed off her ribbon twirling skills. Leslie then popped the question to Dangle, wearing the Reno Sheriff's Department Safety Dog costume. Dangle, being surprised and in awe, accepted the proposal. Of course a scene wouldn't be complete without Trudy making some racial comment about the Mexican kid who supposedly threw a can at Dangle's head.

It was a nice change to see a 'Reno 911!' episode starting in a place other than the Morning call at the Sheriff's Department. We find the gang at the Wolfpack Stadium on riot control, awaiting the fans of the Lady Wolfpack to riot after winning. After the Lady Wolfpacks lose, Junior comments "Thank God Reno sucks!"

A season finale of 'Reno 911!' wouldn't be season finale without an appearance by Terry. Terry calls the Reno Sheriff's Department after someone steals all the mild salsa. The officers ignore the stolen salsa and focuses on Terry being an "attention whore". Terry denies their accusations and says his skates were given to him by his great, great grandmother from China.

If you've seen atleast one episode of season four of 'Reno 911!' you should know that Wiegel is pregnant. When Wiegel shows up at Dangle's door in the cake, Dangle seems uncomfortable and disgusted. The problem goes from bad to worse when Wiegel tries to escape from the cake. She ends up stuck because of her pregnant belly. Wiegel reminds us with random remarks like "I'm lactating" and "I'm very sweaty under my boobs" that she isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. While you were laugh hysterically you probably missed one of the funniest lines in this scene, which was "I was going to do a sexy robot and I had a ping pong ball that was going to come out of my vagina As the deputies are trying to figure out a way to get her out, the envied and hated Reno's Fire Department came to congratulate Dangle on his marriage. After Trudy mentioned her water broke, a fireman mentioned "There's a slimy ping pong ball".

After trying to get Trudy to the hospital by going through downtown, Trudy finally makes it and delivers her baby safely. Dangle and Leslie decide to hold their "commitment ceremony" at Trudy's bedside. Dangle and Leslie sing a duet of "Being Alive" without the tape and find themselves to both be a little flat. Continuing with the ceremony, Garcia interrupts and declares his love for Leslie. Leslie and Garcia both run away, guessing to elope.

Guessing is pretty much all you can do with this season finale. We won't be seeing season five until this coming fall. If this episode has anything in common with the other season finales, we know that there's a big chance of this being another mirage or dream sequence. This is the best season finale that 'Reno 911!' delivered and keeps us waiting for the season five premiere. This episode was a true gem and was worth the wait of a less than great season of Reno. Keep your eyes open for new episodes this fall, but until then Comedy Central has finally put Reno in its weekday prime time slot.moreless
