When Jones and Garcia are accused of beating on Milkshake man Andy Freeman thw whole Washoe County is sent into shockwaves as an investigation led by D.A. Mike Powers is concluded. This episode made a good plotline and it also gave you the reasonable doubt that this was in fact the end of Reno 911!

Garwood (Wayne Brady) refers to Jones as Mandingo, a reference to the novel and movie by the same name about a slave, whose owner trains him to become a bare-knuckle boxer. The title has become synonymous with the image of a large black man.

- Jones: I didn't do anything, I didn't do anything! First O.J., then Kobe, now Jonesey. I didn't do anything! He is referring to O.J. Simpson who was acquitted on charges of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and waiter Ron Goldman, and Kobe Bryant who was accused of sexual assault in 2003 (the charges were later dropped).
