  • The deputies of Reno are making the most of their lives after law enforcement. But Mike Powers keeps calling......

This is probably one of my all time favorite episodes of Reno 911! Garcia and Jones living the easy life of mall security guards. Dangle living his dream of trying out for American Idol. Niecy is a real estate agent with some dubious properties. Clemmie is "with the band" of Steely Dan. Junior is a carnie. And Trudy is sort of renting out rooms in her house to seniors looking for cheap vacation housing in Reno. Or at least that what it appears to be. But they all seem to be getting messages from their nemesis, Mike Powers(former DA who ruined their collective law enforcement careers), now on the run after being discovered as a serial killer.

Funny, funny episode. Best segments; former deputy Junior turning trashy on the carny circuit and most especially former deputy Weigel sitting in her housecoat with her cat and her elderly "guests" listening to Mike Powers creepy threats on her answering machine.

    • The bouncer at the Steely Dan concert yells for the ladies to calm down because they didn't want another Who concert or Altamont. These are two concerts where tragedy struck: when The Who played in Ohio in December of 1979, eleven fans were trampled to death in the rush to claim the best seats, and in December of 1969 the Altamont free concert ended with the Hell's Angels (who for some inexplicable reason were hired as security) killing concert-goer Meredith Hunter.
