  • The Sheriff's Department help film segments for Reading Ron, a local children's program. Dangle, Jonesy and Weigel get quarantined in a SARS infected house.

    8.0
First off, Reading Ron is perfect. With his facade of being overly nice he is just like every other child show host ever, with equal parts calm and inappropriate. And while there has always seemed something wrong with those people, some of those suspicions finally get to be confirmed with Ron and his "off-camera" antics (frustration at being upstaged by puppet sidekick, arguing with his dealer, and too much interest in several confiscated items in the evidence locker).

While the group try to be as helpful as possible, they are completley oblivious to the PC mindset of the kids show and just tell how things are like with blunt honesty. And while they continue to try their best, they continue to fail over and over again.

But what makes this episode is when the Sheriff's Department stage a rescue in a last ditch effort to get Ron something useable for his show. It is one of the grossest accidents ever, but it will make you laugh out loud very hard and very loudly.

The episode overall is above average. Trapping three main characters in the house and away from the action, while interesting (and even disturbing) was not really all that funny. What inevitably saves it is the rescue scene that will forever be associated with Reno 911 and Comedy Central "best of" montages.moreless
  • Dangle, Trudy, and Jones are restricted to the confines of a house as the Center of Desease Control says they only have days to live due to possibly contracting of anthrax.moreless

    Storyline

The story its\' self was an original twist to what many people would of expected to happen. Although, the other officers were not featured as much in this episode. The personalities of the officers are clearly shown. The only problem with the story was that considering they were the stars of the show, and the trailers for the next episode are shown, one would have to be an idiot to not know that they would survive some way.

    Humor

On a scale of 1 to 10, this episode rated a 9. With so many people under the impression of Reno 911 getting worse, I believe that it is indeed getting better and adding new characters and elements have enhanced that.

    Overall

This was a definately funny episode. Although a but predictable, it was still worth seeing.

  • Another great one from Reno 911

    9.1
Reno 911 is one of my favorite shows on TV, and this episode is another great one. The first two episodes of this season were average but not great. The last two episodes were much funnier because they got back to business. Reading Ron was a great guest character. The scene with the cat on the roof was great physcial comedy. Trudy seems to be getting funnier as the show goes on. The scene with Trudy and Dangle talking to Reading Ron was the complete opposite of the cat scene, but just as funny. Reno 911 is one of the few shows I watch on TV.moreless
  • This is why I love this show because it makes you laugh throw the whole show. Comedy Central hit gold with this episode.

This episode was very good I just wanted to see more of what happend in the house and also I wanted to see more of the new deputy. I think they can really start something with her. Besides that the episode was golden espically the part with the cat. I start to cry from laughter when I saw that good job Comedy Central with another good episode of Reno 911.

    • CDC Agent: Basically, I just took a sample from the body. I gotta quarantine this place and I'm gonna send the sample off to Atlanta and that takes 48 hours.
Dangle: Just for, uh, knowin'...and how long till SARS takes effect and kills us if we have it?
CDC Agent: Thirty-six hours. I just read it in a book in the truck. (Pause) Oh, I know--oh, gosh. I just did the math in my head.

    • Reading Ron: I really gotta say you've got a pube in your mouth.
      Dr. Radish: It's your wife's.

    • Reading Ron: If we see a prostitute, just say "a bucket, I saw a bucket."
      Junior: I saw a bucket.
      Reading Ron: A bucket.
Junior: Oh, look. There's a bucket goin' down on a Puerto Rican right there.
