I think that Shelia will be the one to die. Even though I love her crazy butt. I just don't think that she made it out of the fire in time. I hope that I am wrong.

    ***SPOILERS***

From the latest issue of Ask Ausiello:

Question: Any updates on the fourth season of Rescue Me? — Anthony Ausiello: Several. It's tentatively slated to return in June, Tatum O'Neal(Maggie Gavin) has been upped to a series regular, and (Major spoiler alert) an original cast member — a series regular — will be killed off early in the season.

So somebody is going to die, my speculation is that if it was a firefighter I could probably see Franco as the best choice as I don't really see where his character can go.  But I don't suspect it is any of the firefighters. For me I think it comes down to Tommy's Dad or Jeannie Reilly, the cheif's wife.

that would be so dumb to kill of franco... tommy & franco are the two best characters in the show... if anything it will be the dumb one which married tommy's sister.. now he is going to be a star in this summers blockbuster Of AvP.2 which looks better than the first one.

    From the latest Ask Ausiello:

Question: I was just thinking about Rescue Me, and it suddenly hit me: You just might have stumbled upon a piece of prattle concerning the big death that's coming up early in the season. Care to share the deets?— Shawn Ausiello: OK, but I'm going to do a combo spoiler alert/asterisk quiz because it's potentially ruinous, both to your viewing experience and my health and well-being. The big death is actually a **i*i**. What do you think that means??? Any ideas???

I'm just filling in the astrics, I don't know for sure. It could mean that somebody is going to die and become a recurring spirit. We'll see. Right now, I think Tommys got Jimmy, Johnney and Jesus in his head.

Suicide fit's better then spirits for sure. I could see Lou offing himself because he's contantly setting him self up for disaster. I could see Sheela offing herself because her life is such a wreck. I could see Mike offing himself because he's just so confused. I Don't see Tommy, Franco, Jerry, or Sean doing it because they're just too strong to end it like that. I know Tommy considered it, but he knew it wasn't the way. I don't see Janet doing it either, but I could see the older daughter going that route, her life is so complex and at her age, it wouldn't be suprising at all.

I would think Sheila, although....I don't know what they would do with her son then.

Well, he'll be finacially secure, unless Sheila loses all the money before she dies, and he's about old enough to move out anyway. But he'll probably shake up with Tommy and become a semi regular like Tommy's dad and Teddy.

Didn't Sheila spend everything she had on that beach house? Most insurances don't pay out for suicides, but still. If that all did happen, and her son stayed with Tommy, how long would he have before he could go to probie school, anyone know?

I believe from the spoilers I have read that the death will be Jerry. Jerry can't go back to working at the firehouse because his heart is permenantly damaged. The job is all he has. I think he will kill himself. If that is the case I am glad that my crazy biotch Shelia isn't leaving.

    This is from episode 4

Tommy and Janet are at a marriage
counselor trying to get back together because they never actually went
through with the divorce and they think they should try one more time
because of the "passion" they feel is still there.

Franco is at a jewelers buying an engagement ring.

    Sean
and Maggie are talking, because apparently earlier that morning Sean
asked Maggie for a divorce, I think because of her drinking, and he
says that he didn't mean what he said this morning and he is commited
to the relationship. Just then some young guy walks out in a towel and
asks who Sean is and Maggie says her ex. Sean asks who the guy is and
Maggie says it is some guy she met in a bar this afternoon. Which
makes Sean made and he says some other things to her and then finally
says he wants a divorce to which she says you're already getting one
and Sean says he means it this time.

I know a bit from each episode up to that one but not details. I think she's just taking care of the baby. Maybe it's the one we see in that new promo tommy's holding.

POSSIBLE SPOILER: I think Jerry is going to die. I thought this after seeing the end of last season. He literally has nothing since he will be unable to work at the fire house. His wife is sick and doesn't remember him, he has a gay son whom he can't accept and now he loses his job. There was also a scene (don't remember what episode or what season) in which he discusses his father's attempt to off himself after retiring from the police force.."I can't live without my family" was the quote Jerry'ds father said when Jerry confronted him about his suicide attempt...

Also, Jerry hasn't been in one of the preview scenes that I have seen....Although they haven't showed us much. I guess we'll find out, but I think Jerry goes, which is unfortunate since I love his character.
