    Thanks Rox!

I was looking at this forum and I recognize the artwork from the S2 DVD, but it looks so odd -- esp. with that ad splashed over it. Tommy looks so strange in it. I'm still trying to convince myself that that's him.

A picture of Tommy with a sort of determined grin against a red background or something, like the promos on the FX site, would look really cool, imo.

    Great site, btw.

Yeah the banner uses that cover which I thought was odd.  Its from the scene in Season 2, which was very cheesily done by the way, when Tommy *spoiler in wingdings* falls through the floor.

If you can read windings, don't read it.  And if you can, you are a badass.

Tommy falls through the floor in S2x09 - "Rebirth."

And he has an extended dream/vision of falling again in
S2x10 - "Brains," during which Shelia talks to him.

My fiance and I have loved the show since the beginning. Push the edge... ok great, but we were extremely disturbed by the recent episode that seemed to depict rape as being good and enjoyable on either and both sides.

I know that Tommy wan't s to get revenge on his brother but doesn't anyone think that Angie sudden turnaround might be a way for Johnny to get back at Tommy Just something to think about.

Mike's roomie finally has a name. You'd think after this many episodes and that many background sports couch romps that he'd have a name already.

Denis Leary and Andrea Roth both discussed "the rape episode" and Janet's assault with a friendly weapon in this week's TVGUIDE. Interesting insights if not especially elucidating. I'm thinking they're trying to conceal spoilers about what future plotlines will proceed from these two incidents (the one in Sparks and the one in Zombies) and didn't want to say too much.

What is all this crap about Tommy getting his "comeuppance". He has had a crappy enough life, why does it need to be worse. His kid just died, that doese'nt count as comeuppance, not to metion whats going on with Janet.

Hi, I am new to the forum and I do not know what status I need to post my own threads an what not. I have a question about the episode "Satisfaction". In the episode the lady that watches over Tommy's dad rapes him. Afterwords the lady rubs some vodka on his lips to make it look like he just blacked out. Does any one have any idea what the vodka was? The bottle was very sleek, it looked like a VOSS water bottle... http://www.vosswater.com/

The soundtrack is awesome!! I got it last week and have been wearing it out. I hope they do another one, as all the songs aren't on the first one.

my favorite song is "devil" by stereophonics. Its on the first episode of season 3. it fit in perfectly.

I think the whole show is getting a bad rep on the "rape episode" and its not right.

These characters have been developing for three seasons, and I for one didn't feel the shock. Had it been the first episode I ever saw, it would have been disturbing. But I wouldn't miss another episode.

I agree. The only sex I've seen on this show without one party giving at least implicit consent is Sheila raping Tommy this week.

And I already had her pegged as an out-of-control borderline sociopathic bitca anyway so my opinion of her changed very little.

Not me. I mean, none of the women in Tommy's life are at all stable, but wacked out as she is -- Janet's dealing with just as much grief and loss as Tommy is -- I'd be cool with them writing them back together. Yes, I know, she's an evil horrible skank. But she's his evil, horrible skank.

And now Tommy has something on her that's as bad as anything she has on him, so no more moral high ground for Janet in that relationship.
