    This year's shows have been abysmal. The humor is gone. The storytelling is confused and uninspired. But it is this episode that turns a corner into the truly disgusting. The scene where Tommy and the priest torture Gavin's daughter made me sick. There is nothing redeeming about the episode. It is ugly, depraved and sadistic. Even the lighter scenes in the firehouse come off as forced and humorless. The ballet crap adds nothing to the story line or character development. It was good to see Tatum again but she is in on the torture. I don't find it entertaining to see people force each other or physically hurt virtually defenseless people. If the moral is that it is hard to achieve sobriety, this is not the way. Is Leary going through a tough personal time at home? This is not art. It is torture.moreless
