  • A chance for Callie Thorne to shine as the title character.

    "Great"
Callie Thorne has been with the show from the very beginning but has usually been relegated to a supporting role that can verge on caricature. We've seen her go through many bad female stereotypes from needy to crazy to dumb. With this episode we get a chance to see what she's capable of when given the right material. She pulls off a dramatic speech with only her face in frame. For once she's not playing off another actor. The scene shows Sheila in a different light. We really get to feel her loss of Jimmy and how she kept it together for Damien even though her world had crumbled like the towers. The survivors of heroes deserve just as much credit as the heroes themselves. And Callie Thorne deserves as much credit as any actor on this show. On another note: Is this the season for explosions or what? there were about three in as many episodes. Maybe it's because they got a bigger budget.moreless
