This show could easily be described as SHOWTIME's best drama show of all time. Resurrection Blvd. tells us the story of a Mexican family in America, lead by a widow father, who is trying to raise his kids with his wife's sister's help.
During three wonderful seasons, we get to see how Carlos, a promising boxer, Victoria, a troubled teenager, Alex, also a boxer, and Yolanda, a grown woman, grow up and become better persons, we get to see how the world can be a good, but at the same time a lonely place to live in.
In one word, Resurrection Blvd. relates the individual trials, tribulations, tragedies and triumphs of this Mexican-American family in East Los Angeles, California.
And a another thing that makes the show even better are outstanding atcing performances by Tony Plana, Michael DeLorenzo, Brian Austin Green, Marisol Nichols, and my favorite, Elizabeth Peña.
It's a show worth watching.moreless
